Exceptional Quality, and a
high standard of Customer Care |

"Before arriving, the
owners sent us details of the local eateries, and
asked if we would like to make a reservation to
guarantee us a table on a busy Friday night.
Splendid service from the outset, and we hadn’t even
arrived. |
|
You could expect to see a
fortress behind the entrance – a stone frame that
could easily have a pair of iron gates fitted onto
them. There was a lovely patio area embedded with
plants and steps, circling a small cobbled car park.

A glass conservatory facing
us, to the left was a large family home, and to the
right a small residence that looked like a converted
barn. Small lights lit the area and we were greeted
and shown to the conversion. |
|
A room with soft
furnishings and a comfortable four-poster bed, large
enough to accommodate a small seating area complete
with a flat screen TV, and a small stocked up
kitchenette. The bathroom was consistent and fitted
with modern furnishings, and there was an abundance
of accessories, lotions and potions…all of a
respectable high standard. |

It felt as though every
detail had been thought of, with umbrellas being
provided, and snacks to wake up to in the middle of
the night.. All this was a mere justification of the
price charged. |
|
The owners were flexible
over breakfast, which was served in the bright
conservatory offering views of the river. The food
had the authenticity of home cooking and there was a
plethora of hot drinks, juice and fruit available. |
|
The immediate local area
was very pretty, and a handful of pubs and
restaurants were only a short walk away. Walton
Shopping centre was under 10 minutes away by car and
housed all the major shopping brands. |
|
We had a pleasant stay and
a relaxing time away from London at this beautiful
retreat. It was enhanced by the care and hospitality
of the owners, and there keen attention to detail.
We plan to return in the Summer, as we imagine that
River view cottage will offer an even more
enchanting experience." |

any hotel that we have stayed in and your attention
to detail was so much appreciated. I especially
loved the Molton Brown in the bathroom!! We have not

for organising the restaurant and for taking us at
such short notice. Thank you also for going to the
time and trouble to cater for my 'diet' that was so

fantastic. The setting is very scenic; Elaine is
extremely hospitable; there are good bars and
restaurants close to the accommodation and I always

enough praise to this establishment! The room is
beautiful with luxury products in the bathroom and
delicious nibbles in the kitchen area. Elaine keeps
the place spotless and is extremely helpful. She
recommended local restaurants for us and helped us
to make a last minute booking. The house is situated
with lovely riverside views and the breakfast was
excellent. The perfect place to unwind and relax." |
